PART 1
RESEARCH
Interview
We conducted interviews with managers including president, CEO, and executive designers of different Non-Profit organizations, which provide us some key insights about the gap between different roles.
Interview Findings
In the network of non-profit organization, based on our research, these roles are citric in ensuring effective collaboration and resource optimization.
“Unstable funding makes long-term impact impossible.”

Non-Profit Orgnizations
Nonprofits struggle with unstable funding, limited resources, and challenges in forming long-term partnerships, which hinder their ability to sustain impactful programs.
“Nonprofits need clarity; and we need visibility.”

Partners
Partners face difficulties accessing transparent and timely information about nonprofit activities, making it challenging to engage effectively. They miss opportunities to contribute meaningfully to nonprofit initiatives.
“Finding the right volunteer role is harder than I thought.”

Volunteers
Volunteers often encounter barriers in finding relevant opportunities and sustainable roles, limiting their long-term engagement. Budgetary and logistical challenges further hinder their ability to contribute effectively to nonprofit programs.
PART 2
COMPEITITOR ANALYSIS
Competitor Analysis
To further analyze the current market and potential competitors, we also conduct a deep analysis with the platforms that exist in current market.

Volunteermatch
A platform connects volunteers with flexible, event-based opportunities while offering skill-building resources.

Partners
An platform that connects users with interest-based groups and activities, offering flexibility to join or organize events and discover related recommendations.

Volunteers
A global platform for trending petitions on rights, ethics, and environmental issues.
Positioning Matrix

After a deep analysis, we identified a market gap for a platform that integrates resource sharing, open participation, and networking for nonprofits. Our opportunity is to bridge this gap and enhance collaboration.
PART 3
DESIGN THINKING
Initially, we want to create a comprehensive internal collaboration platform for nonprofits, similar to Slack or Lark. However, our research revealed a greater need for a network that connects different roles among non-profit organizations.
This insight shifted our focus to building a platform that fosters collaboration and bridges these critical gaps.
